Scot Kim Little aims to improve on her stunning form for Seattle

Kim Little has been in great form for club and country

Scotland midfielder Kim Little says she has only just got started after scoring 11 goals in 11 games for Seattle Reign.

The 23-year-old has impressed in America's National Women's Soccer League after signing for Seattle from Arsenal in November.

Her prolific form has already earned her a league player of the month award, but Little is not about to rest on her laurels.

"I want to improve and get better," said the 23-year-old.

Little is back in Scotland for the World Cup 2015 qualifying double-header against Sweden and Northern Ireland.

And she is delighted with how her move to America has worked out so far.

"I love it out there, I'm playing professionally and train every day and you can't get much better than that really," Little added.

"I went out to get a new challenge and new experience, and I've enjoyed every second of it. I've enjoyed the city and the football even more.

"Scoring goals is part of my game, and I'm glad I can do that for Seattle. We're also undefeated and that's more important."

Scotland manager Anna Signeul has tipped Little to be a key player against the Group 4 favourites Sweden at Fir Park on Saturday, with both sides looking to preserve 100% records.

And the classy midfielder is convinced the Scots can cause an upset against one of the women's game's top teams.

"It's a huge game," added Little. "They're favourites but I don't think you can go into a match not believing you can get a result.

"We completely believe we can do it and have the ability to do it. I'm not nervous, I don't get nervous at all.

"We just need to focus on what we're best at and what our best attributes are, we believe in them and if we do them well we can get a result.

"This match is vital to get a result. We've already put ourselves in a great position but this would just add to it going into our last three games."
