Southend United have signed winger Myles Weston on a two-year contract following his release by Gillingham.
The 26-year-old made 43 appearances for the League One club last season, scoring twice.
"His pace and trickery will cause defences in this division all sorts of problems," Southend boss Phil Brown told the club website., external
"He knows what it takes to win promotion from League Two, Gillingham having done so a couple of years ago."
Weston began his career in the youth ranks at Charlton and moved on to Notts County and Brentford before joining Gillingham two summers ago.
""I'm really pleased to have finalised the move to Southend United, and I can't wait to get started in pre-season.
"I met with the manager and was really enthused by his plans for the football club," he said.
