Scottish Challenge Cup gets new sponsorship deal

The draw for the first round of the Challenge Cup will take place on Wednesday afternoon.

And the tournament has a new sponsor; Petrofac Training Services.

The opening two rounds of the competition are regionalised, with first-round ties scheduled for the weekend of 26 July.

The 30 Championship, League One and League Two clubs will be joined by Highland League champions Brora Rangers and Lowland League winners Spartans.

Raith Rovers are the current holders, while relegated Hibs and Hearts will be entering for the first time.
