Port Vale have signed Ipswich Town defender Frederic Veseli on loan, subject to clearance.

He joined Ipswich Town 12 months ago, making his only appearance in the League Cup against Stevenage.

He joined City's academy at the age of 15, but in 2012 he moved across Manchester to Old Trafford, where he also failed to break into the first team.

Veseli, who captained Switzerland to victory in the Under-17 World Cup in 2009,, external is Vale boss Micky Adams' eighth signing of the summer.
