- Published
Carlisle are set to to be without defender Courtney Meppen-Walter for more than two months after the player underwent knee surgery.
The 20-year-old former Manchester City trainee has featured three times in all competitions so far this season.
If his recovery goes to plan, Meppen-Walter will miss 12 matches and could return for the start of November.
"The surgeon was pleased but he will be out for at least nine weeks," said Carlisle boss Graham Kavanagh.
