Plymouth's on-loan Swansea winger Alex Bray will undergo surgery after rupturing his anterior ligament and could miss the next six months.
The 19-year-old joined the League Two side on transfer deadline day on loan until January and made his debut against Luton on Saturday.
Bray came off the bench and played a part in Dominic Blizzard's winning goal, but he only lasted 11 minutes.
"It's a crying shame for the kid," Plymouth manager John Sheridan said.
