Tom Anderson: Lincoln sign Burnley defender on loan

Tom Anderson has had loan spells in non-league football with Barrow, Hyde and Halifax Town

Lincoln City have signed defender Tom Anderson from Burnley on a one-month loan deal.

The 21-year-old began his career at Turf Moor and captained their youth and reserve teams.

But Anderson has not featured in a competitive game for the Premier League club, but has had spells in non-league with Barrow, Hyde and Halifax Town.

He is in contention to make his Lincoln City debut against Aldershot in the Conference on Saturday.
