Coleraine come from a goal down to beat Glenavon 2-1 and secure their first home win of the season

Coleraine came from behind against Glenavon to clinch their first home Premiership victory of the season.

A good Glenavon move in the eighth minute ended with Andy Kilmartin picking out Andy McGrory to score with a nice shot over Michael Doherty.

Coleraine got level in the 23rd minute through a Neil McCafferty shot which was deflected past Alan Blayney.

McCafferty scored the winner through a 57th-minute penalty after Paddy McNally had upended Ian Parkhill.

Glenavon player-manager Gary Hamilton sent an overhead free-kick just wide and returning substitute Eoin Bradley squandered a late chance.

But Coleraine, whose previous two league wins had been away to Warrenpoint and champions Cliftonville, closed out the hard-earned victory.
