Swindon Town are interested in signing Norwich striker Jamar Loza on loan, as cover for the injured Jon Obika.

BBC Wiltshire understands the 19-year-old Jamaica international has been the subject of enquiries from a number of clubs and Swindon have joined the race after finding out Obika's prognosis.

The Robins forward, who joined the club on 1 September, is likely to be out for 12 weeks with a shoulder injury.

Loza has previously had loan spells at Coventry, Leyton Orient and Southend.

He has made one start and two substitute appearances for Norwich and signed a new two-year deal with the Championship side this summer.

Meanwhile, Swindon are expected to field Queens Park Rangers & Northern Ireland under-21 defender Jamie Sendles-White as a trialist in a development game on Tuesday against Oxford.
