York City: Ryan Brunt signs from Bristol Rovers on loan

Brunt has made four appearances for Rovers this season - but none since 6 September

York City have signed Bristol Rovers striker Ryan Brunt on a month's loan.

The 21-year-old joined Rovers from Stoke City in January 2013 and scored five goals in 18 league appearances before the end of the season.

But he was restricted to 14 appearances in 2013-14 after knee surgery and has only played four games this term.

"I am unable to offer Ryan regular football here at the moment, something he will get with York," said Rovers boss Darrell Clarke.

"The move gives him the opportunity of playing at a good level and regaining his match sharpness."
