Rachel Unitt: England and Notts Ladies defender injures knee
- Published
Notts County Ladies and England defender Rachel Unitt has suffered her second anterior cruciate knee ligament injury in the space of 16 months.
The 32-year-old missed Euro 2013 after damaging her left knee in March 2013 and has only played seven times for Notts following her January transfer.
Unitt hurt her right knee playing against Chelsea last month.
She is being treated by the England medical staff and no date has yet been set for her expected return.
Unitt's ACL injury is the fourth that Notts County Ladies have suffered this season, with Ellen White, Anna Green and Sophie Bradley all currently on the sidelines.
