Garry Thompson scored a hat-trick as Notts County climbed into the play-off places with victory over Crawley.
The 33-year-old netted twice before the interval, and Zeli Ismail also scored as County headed into the break 3-0 up.
Crawley fought back to reduce the deficit to one goal with Gwion Edwards and Matt Harrold on target.
But Thompson completed his treble and Gary Jones added County's fifth before Marvin Elliott's late strike.
Notts County manager Shaun Derry told BBC Radio Nottingham:
"I thought the attacking play was fantastic today, every time we picked up the ball we looked dangerous.
"It's another game unbeaten, it's nine now, we just don't want to give it up.
"It annoyed me letting them back in the game, I'd have rather won 3-0 than 5-3."
Crawley Town boss John Gregory told BBC Surrey:
"It was a totally uncharacteristic performance in the first half, it's certainly unlike us to get bullied by anybody and we crumbled.
"We had spirit in the second half to fight our way back into it, but at the end of the day the first half cost us. That's the reason we lost the three points.
"Letting in nine in two games is a huge embarrassment. We've had eight clean sheets this season and I have been proud with the fact we had eight clean sheets. I talked about inconsistencies last week and it was those inconsistent performances that we had today."
