Sweden striker John Guidetti believes Celtic can win the domestic treble and the Europa League this season.

The 22-year-old struck the opener with a well-taken free-kick in his team's 2-0 league win over Kilmarnock on Sunday.

"I want to win the quadruple so I have to focus on every game," said the player on loan from Manchester City.

"The quadruple is 100% possible. You see that now that we are getting all of our players back like Mikael Lustig, Charlie Mulgrew and Kris Commons."

In the post-match media conference Guidetti was quick to point out that his contribution to Celtic this season has not just been in scoring five goals in seven games, but that he has chipped in with three assists.

Against Killie, from the free-kick awarded when Manuel Pascali was sent off for hauling down Stefan Scepovic as he raced in on goal, Guidetti thumped in a shot that left keeper Conor Brennan helpless.

Serbian international Scepovic added Celtic's second goal against the 10 men in the second half as they moved from sixth to fourth in the Scottish Premiership.

"I think I should have scored at least one more," said Guidetti, who hit the post in the second half and had two good efforts saved by 20-year-old Brennan.

"You can say I was unlucky but I wanted one more.

"We beat a good side today. If we win our game in hand we will be top of the league, which is what these fans deserve."

Guidetti seems quite at home with Celtic, saying scoring at Celtic Park is "the best thing in the world".

"It makes me so happy," he said. "It's a beautiful place to be. All the people treat you so good. We have taco evenings.

"I love to play football and to play for passionate fans for a massive club is a great honour."

Guidetti was not registered in time to play for Celtic in the Europa League Group D campaign but he hopes to make an appearance in the competition soon.

He said: "We have done so well right now in the Europa League and I can't wait to go to the knock-out phase so I can be part of the squad."

Celtic manager Ronny Deila acknowledged the effect of Pascali's dismissal as looked forward to the midweek League Cup home match against Partick Thistle.

"The first 20 minutes was played out in the midfield and the red card changed the whole game," he said.

"From there, I think we controlled it and did well.

"The boys are feeling it a bit after Thursday. We have played a lot of matches. We could have pushed more but I think it was wise to calm it down. It was a good win.

"We saved some energy for Wednesday which is going to be an important match.

"The strikers are scoring - that's positive - and we created a lot of chances. Guidetti and Scepovic showed that they can do it but it was the first time. We have to get them more matches.

"You can see they are both dangerous. They will play a lot together and together they will get better and better."
