Bournemouth's Callum Wilson says it is a dream come true to earn his first call-up to England's Under-21 squad.
Wilson, 22, has been named for the fixtures against Portugal and France.
He has 11 goals since his summer move from Coventry and may become the first Cherries player to represent the U21s since current boss Eddie Howe.
"It's something every player dreams about, getting to represent your country is a fantastic achievement," Wilson told BBC Radio Solent.

Wilson admitted to being surprised at the call-up to Gareth Southgate's squad but hopes he can show what he is capable of ahead of the 2015 European Championships in Czech Republic.
"It's nice to see my hard work getting some recognition," he added.
"It was a bit of a surprise as I have never played for England at any level before. I had a good month. I've got the shout so it's nice. I tend to not think about it and concentrate on the games and take it day by day.
"Hopefully I'll be involved, my plans for getting a haircut have gone out the window but I can arrange it for another time. Hopefully I can do well and show people what I'm all about."
Howe, whose side currently sit top of the Championship, added: "It's a really nice thing for Callum personally, it's a great experience, it's an eye-opener having done it myself.
"I think he deserves it and it is really good for the club that he is getting that recognition and the players are getting plaudits for what they are doing."
Meanwhile, Cherries defender Baily Cargill has also earned his first international call-up to the Under-20 side.
