FA Trophy: Wrexham face Southport in first round

Kevin Wilkin took over at Wrexham after previously managing Conference rivals Nuneaton Town

Wrexham have been drawn away to fellow Conference side Southport in the FA Trophy.

The Dragons - who won the 2013 final against Grimsby - will travel to Southport for the first round tie on Saturday, 13 December.

The game will be the first of three games for Kevin Wilkin's side against Southport in a space of three weeks.

Merthyr Town will travel to Conference side Forest Green Rovers if they overcome Didcot Town in a replay.
