Dundee United midfielder Charlie Telfer has been voted Scottish Professional Football League Young Player of the Month for November.

The SPFL cited "a string of fine performances" by the 19-year-old for the vote from the Scottish media.

Telfer, who signed after leaving Rangers in the summer, scored in a 3-0 home win over St Mirren and starring in a 3-1 victory over Kilmarnock.

He also had a part in a 2-1 win over Motherwell in the Scottish Cup.

Telfer came through the youth ranks with Rangers but rejected a new contract with the Scottish Championship club.

The two clubs have yet to agree a compensation figure, with Dundee United's latest offer of £100,000 being rejected by the Glasgow outfit.
