Fleetwood Town 1-1 Sheffield United

Fleetwood and Sheffield United extended their respective winless streaks to four matches following a hard-fought draw at Highbury.

The Blades took an early lead as Bob Harris drilled a shot into the bottom corner from the edge of the box.

Antoni Sarcevic equalised for Fleetwood shortly after half-time when he headed in Josh Morris's pinpoint cross.

Fleetwood's Nick Haughton nearly won it late on for Fleetwood, but his 25-yard volley just went over the crossbar.

Sheffield United boss Nigel Clough told BBC Radio Sheffield:

Clough on Fleetwood v Sheffield United

"It's a good point away from home. It's always a bit disappointing when you've led, but it was quite an even game with chances at both ends.

"Probably our formation took them a bit by surprise, it's the first opportunity we've had to put two big lads up front, Jamie Murphy's got a free role behind them, it's just unfortunate that we had four or five midfielders missing.

"We're trying to work out ways to be a bit more positive, so we sacrificed the width and went a bit more direct to the front too.

"Bob doesn't kick it many times with his right foot, never mind score many. We've challenged him a little bit and said 'you should be getting five to 10 goals a season' so it's lovely he's got another one today."
