Jose Mourinho: Chelsea 'don't speak' about quadruple

Jose Mourinho has won seven domestic titles, two Champions Leagues and one Uefa Cup as a manager

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has played down the chances of his side winning the quadruple this season.

The Blues, who lead the Premier League by three points, moved into the League Cup semi-finals with a 3-1 win at Derby on Tuesday.

But Mourinho said: "We don't speak about it. You [the media] spoke a few weeks ago about being unbeatable in the Premier League and we never did it.

"Now you speak about the quadruple. We have our feet on the ground."

In the new year, Chelsea meet Paris St-Germain in the last 16 of the Champions League and Watford in the third round of the FA Cup.

Midfielder Cesc Fabregas stopped short of suggesting that Chelsea could win four trophies this season, but said the side have "talent, discipline and courage" to be successful.

The Spain international added: "Time will tell. It's all up to us. I can see a team doing well but we have to work hard for it and at the end of the season we will speak about it."

Chelsea centre-back Kurt Zouma was carried off with a head injury during the win at Derby, while striker Didier Drogba had to be substituted with an ankle problem, but Mourinho said neither player was a serious concern.

"Zouma is fine; he was just a bit dizzy and had some blood in his mouth," said the Portuguese.

"We had information immediately that it was nothing serious. He has some exams with the doctors but he's fine.

"Didier Drogba went over on his ankle. With his mentality, I believe he can get over it before the game at Stoke on Monday."
