Chesterfield 3-2 Peterborough United

Chesterfield survived a Peterborough United fightback to leapfrog their fellow League One play-off chasers.

The Spireites established a three-goal lead, with Eoin Doyle leading the way by turning in his 20th goal of the season from a Tendayi Darikwa cross.

Doyle teed up Armand Gnanduillet for a second and after the break the prolific Irishman lashed in from 20 yards.

Posh rallied as Michael Bostwick headed in and Marcus Maddison's cross deceived keeper Tommy Lee, but it came too late.

Ninth-placed Chesterfield are now two points adrift of the play-offs, with Posh a point further back.
