Bradford City 1-0 Notts County

League One play-off hopefuls Bradford City stretched their unbeaten run to nine games by beating Notts County.

Jake Cassidy saw a shot come back off the post for the visitors while the Bantams went close through Andy Halliday and Billy Knott before the pair linked up for the day's only goal.

A defensive mix-up four minutes from half-time allowed Halliday to nip in and cut back for Knott to slot home.

James Hanson and Francois Zoko both went close to making it 2-0.

Notts County manager Shaun Derry told BBC Radio Nottingham:

"We've been absolutely fantastic away from home. It's been the mark of our success this year, so to lose it is disappointing.

"But we always knew it was going to end at some point.

"We've been pretty smart in our defensive play this year, but a lack of communication has cost us dearly. We tried to get back into it but couldn't break Bradford down."
