Birmingham City have allowed teenager Nat Kelly to join Kidderminster Harriers on a month-long youth loan.

The 19-year-old defender, who has been given permission to play in Saturday's FA Trophy second-round tie at home to Altrincham, is scheduled to remain with the Conference side until 9 February.

Harriers are without injured player-coach Josh Gowling at Aggborough.

Fellow defenders Jordan Tunnicliffe and Tyrone Williams are also missing, as they are both cup-tied.

But striker Keyon Reffell, who signed from Welsh side Port Talbot in mid-December, is finally available to make his Harriers debut after being given international clearance.

Kelly, who signed his first professional contract with Birmingham City last June, follows the path to Aggborough taken by strikers Reece Hales and Akwasi Asante.

Hales, who signed for Harriers last summer but has now been loaned out to neighbours Stourbridge Town, and Asante, who signed on a contract until the end of the season just before Christmas, also came through the Blues Academy before being released in June.
