Rayo Vallecano's win lifted them to 10th in the La Liga table

Rayo Vallecano forward Alberto Bueno scored four La Liga goals in the space of 16 first-half minutes to help his side defeat struggling Levante 4-2.

The former Derby County loan signing scored for Madrid-based Vallecano in the 23rd, 32nd, 33rd and 38th minutes.

Bueno's first three goals were what is known as a 'perfect' hat-trick, when a player scores with his left foot, right foot and head.

"I'm delighted as I'd never scored three as a professional," he said.

Real Madrid forward Cristiano Ronaldo was the last player before Bueno to score a 'flawless and perfect' La Liga hat-trick, in a 4-0 win against Getafe in January 2013.

Bueno, 26, now has 12 La Liga goals this season - 17 fewer than the league's leading scorer Ronaldo.

Madrid-born Bueno played for Derby, external in the Championship in the 2010-11 season on loan from Spanish team Real Valladolid.

The former Real Madrid player scored five league goals in 29 league appearances for the Rams.
