Florent Cuvelier: Burton Albion sign Sheffield United man on loan

Florent Cuvelier has played for Belgium at every age group from Under-16 level to Under-21 level

Burton Albion have signed ex-Belgium Under-21 international midfielder Florent Cuvelier on loan from Sheffield United until the end of the season.

Cuvelier could feature for Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink's side, who lie second in League Two, at Hartlepool on Saturday.

The 22-year-old moved to England with Portsmouth and then signed for Stoke City in the summer of 2010.

He spent time on loan at Walsall and Peterborough United before signing for the Blades in September 2013.

Last season, Cuvelier had a month-long loan spell with Port Vale, but only made one appearance for the club.

Cuvelier has played 55 club games in his career and made 48 appearances for his country at various youth levels.
