Oldham Athletic 1-3 Milton Keynes Dons

MK Dons comfortably defeated Oldham to register their first win in five games.

The visitors, who were in the automatic promotion places in February, went ahead when Samir Carruthers set up Dean Bowditch to finish into the far corner.

Carruthers then crossed from the left for Daniel Powell to double the lead with a precise close-range finish.

Ben Reeves made it 3-0 with a superb 20-yard strike into the top corner before Oldham scored a consolation through Rhys Turner's run and finish.

MK Dons manager Karl Robinson told BBC Three Counties Radio:

Robinson on Oldham v MK Dons

"I thought we were very good tonight - very, very good.

"At times we probably thought the game was easier than it actually was and we left big gaps at the back.

"I thought my players' reactions over the last two games have been great, we've gone to two very difficult places."
