England below Costa Rica and Romania in Fifa world rankings

England have fallen two places to 17th in March's Fifa world rankings - below Romania and Costa Rica.

Wales have also fallen, by three spots to 37th, while Scotland are down one to 39th, but Northern Ireland have moved up eight places to 43rd and the Republic of Ireland are up one to 66th.

World champions Germany top the rankings from Argentina and Colombia.

Spain, Euro 2012 and World Cup 2010 winners, have dropped out of the top 10 for the first time since January 2007.
