Drew Talbot: Chesterfield recall defender from Plymouth loan

League One side Chesterfield have recalled defender Drew Talbot from his loan spell at Plymouth Argyle.
The 28-year-old played nine games for Argyle in a variety of positions after joining from manager John Sheridan's former club in January.
Argyle only heard of Talbot's recall while the squad were on their way to Dagenham for Tuesday's League Two game.
He was diverted up to Chesterfield to be part of the Spireites' squad for their league clash with Gillingham.
Talbot had been praised by Sheridan following Saturday's 0-0 draw at Oxford.
"The way he trains you want people to learn off him, that's why he's played for so long in this division," said Sheridan.
"He's an excellent player for this league and the league above. He's set standards for himself and I wish one or two people would look at him and watch what he does and how he prepares."
Talbot had been an ever-present in Argyle's side since the end of January and the club has won five of the nine games that the former Sheffield Wednesday and Luton defender has taken part in.
"Everyone thinks it's easy, but it's not. He's worked hard to be where he is and he's had a good career," added Sheridan.
