Hartlepool United have signed ex-Barnsley striker Rhys Oates whilst Dan Jones has signed a new undisclosed-length deal with the League Two club.
Oates, 20, who signs following his release from the Tykes, made 10 appearances in League One last season.
Jones made 28 appearances for Pools last term, having featured in just one senior match the season previous.
The 20-year-old, who played part of the last campaign with a broken wrist, had surgery after Pools secured survival.
