Joe Bryan: Bristol City wing-back signs new contract

Bristol City wing-back Joe Bryan has signed a new contract with the Championship-bound Robins.

The 21-year-old, who only agreed a fresh two-year deal last summer, is now under contract until 2019.

Bryan came through City's academy and scored seven goals in 50 appearances in 2014-15 as they won the League One title and Johnstone's Paint Trophy.

"Joe fully deserves this extended contract for the season he's had," boss Steve Cotterill told the club website.

"It's good for the football club to have our younger players tied down and pleasing for the lads as well.

"It probably won't stop at Joe, but his is one, along with Marlon Pack and Aden Flint, that we've been able to fit in early in the summer."
