Stevenage: Teddy Sheringham to change style - Kevin Watson

New manager Teddy Sheringham will look to change Stevenage's style, according to his assistant Kevin Watson.
Sheringham has taken his first managerial role, replacing Graham Westley at Broadhall Way in May.
"We're going to try to play a little bit of a different way, and that's no disrespect to Graham because he had a very successful time," said Watson.
"It's difficult at times to play the way we want to play in League Two, which will be to pass it out the back."
He continued to BBC Three Counties Radio: "We're not stupid, that's the way we want to play, but there will be days when it's horrible, windy and the pitch is bobbly and you need to change things."
In three spells at the club, Westley guided Stevenage from non-league to League One, before being replaced by Sheringham after May's League Two play-off semi-final defeat by Southend.
Former Manchester United, Tottenham and England striker Sheringham was appointed on 21 May after a spell as attacking coach at West Ham, and Watson said the 49-year-old had a change of heart about whether to pursue a career in management.
"Two or three years ago we had a chat and management was something that didn't interested him," said Watson, who played with Sheringham at Colchester.
"Something's clicked. I know he enjoyed his time at West Ham. Halfway through it, we met up for a coffee and he said he was thoroughly enjoying it.
"This is naturally the next step. He's really looking forward to it, and excited and nervous at the same time."
