Robbie Keane: LA Galaxy striker signs new deal with MLS club

Republic of Ireland striker Robbie Keane has signed a new deal with Major League Soccer club Los Angeles Galaxy.

Keane, 34, has scored 55 goals in 91 games since moving to the USA in 2011.

The length of the deal has not been announced but head coach Bruce Arena said: "We're very pleased Robbie will continue to be a member of the Galaxy in the coming years."

Keane will be joined in California by former Liverpool team-mate Steven Gerrard when he arrives in July.
