League Two side Wycombe Wanderers have signed Notts County striker Garry Thompson on a two-year contract.

The 34-year-old finished last season as the Magpies' top scorer with 12 goals in 46 games, but could not save them from relegation to League Two.

The ex-Bradford man has made 603 career appearances, and played with Chairboys captain Paul Hayes at Scunthorpe.

Meanwhile, 20-year-old Ryan Sellers has agreed a one-year contract at Adams Park after leaving Bolton.

The left-sided player spent the final few weeks of last season training with Wycombe following his release by Wanderers.

Speaking about the signing of Thompson, Wycombe boss Gareth Ainsworth told the club website:, external "Garry is a fantastic professional who will score goals and bring a new dimension to our attack, and I'm delighted we've been able to sign him.

"He's got great experience, he'll be an important character around the dressing room and his record speaks for itself in terms of what he's achieved in his career."
