Peter Vincenti has scored 23 goals in 93 appearances for Rochdale

Rochdale midfielder Peter Vincenti has signed a two-year contract extension, which keeps him at the League One club until the end of the 2017-18 season.

Vincenti has made 93 appearances for Rochdale since joining from Aldershot on a free transfer in 2013.

The 29-year-old scored 16 goals in 44 games for Dale last season, finishing second in the club's scoring charts.

"One of the most important things is that I'm happy playing my football here," he told the club's website.
