Cameron Gayle: Oxford United sign ex-Shrewsbury defender

Cameron Gayle was released by Shrewsbury in the summer
Oxford United have agreed a short-term contract with defender Cameron Gayle.
The 22-year-old has joined the League Two side initially for a month having impressed on trial with the U's.
Gayle, a former West Bromwich Albion and Shrewsbury player, will be in Oxford's squad for their FA Cup first-round tie at Braintree Town on Sunday.
Released by Shrewsbury in the summer after 28 appearances last season, he can play at either left or right-back, as well as in the centre of defence.
