William Boyle: York City sign Huddersfield Town defender

William Boyle has made one competitive appearance for Huddersfield

York City have signed Huddersfield Town defender William Boyle on loan until 3 January.

The 20-year-old had a loan spell with Macclesfield at the start of the season, but did not make an appearance for the National League side.

Boyle could make his debut for the struggling Minstermen in Saturday's trip to Leyton Orient.

Jackie McNamara's men have not won a league match since September and are third bottom of League Two.
