Martin Lorentzson: Coventry City sign full-back until end of season

Coventry City have signed Swedish defender Martin Lorentzson on a free transfer, subject to international clearance.

The 31-year-old right-back has been on trial with the League One Sky Blues for the last few weeks and has agreed a deal until the end of the season.

"He has impressed us during his time at the club," Coventry boss Tony Mowbray told the club website.

"He'll give us another option and will add plenty of pedigree and experience."

Lorentzson made over 100 appearances in a four-year spell with Swedish top-flight side AIK Solna before moving to Atvidabergs in February this year.

He joins the promotion-chasing Sky Blues with the club second in League One, two points behind leaders Burton.
