Fabian Speiss: Torquay United goalkeeper to leave club

Fabian Speiss played three times for Bristol Rovers in the Conference last season

Goalkeeper Fabian Speiss is to leave National League side Torquay United.

The 21-year-old German joined the Gulls in the summer after a trial period and will depart after Tuesday's FA Trophy first-round replay at Chesham United.

The former Notts County goalkeeper, who also spent time on loan at Bristol Rovers, has played 17 times and kept two clean sheets for Torquay.

But he has not featured since the middle of October after losing his place to teenager Dan Lavercombe.
