Andy Rose: Coventry City to sign Seattle Sounders midfielder

Coventry City have agreed a deal to sign midfielder Andy Rose from Major League Soccer side Seattle Sounders, subject to international clearance.
The 25-year-old has been training with the Sky Blues during the MLS close season and will complete his move on 2 January when his Sounders deal expires.
Rose has agreed a contract at the Ricoh Arena until June 2017.
"He impressed me with his athleticism and the attributes he brings to the position," City boss Tony Mowbray said., external
"Andy will have to learn the way we play and he showed good progress during his trial period so I'm looking forward to working with him further."
The Sky Blues are currently fourth in League One, two points outside the automatic promotion places.

He had spells with Seattle Wolves and Ventura County Fusion before joining Sounders in March 2012. |
