St Johnstone's Scottish Premiership match with Aberdeen has been postponed because of a waterlogged pitch.

An inspection took place at McDiarmid Park at 08:00 GMT and referee Bobby Madden deemed the surface unplayable.

St Johnstone said on their website, external there had been "continuous rain from Saturday into Sunday" in Perth.

A statement on the Aberdeen website, external thanked Saints for the early pitch inspection and "for their consideration for the large Dons travelling support".
