Anthony Pilkington: Cardiff City Stadium pitch 'difficult'

Cardiff City winger Anthony Pilkington says the state of the club's home pitch is contributing to "sloppy" play.
The 27-year-old believes the turf at Cardiff City Stadium - which hosted all of Wales' home fixtures in Euro 2016 qualifying - is cutting up.
"The pitch was a bit difficult to play on," said Pilkington, 27, after the Bluebirds' 1-1 draw at home to Nottingham Forest on Tuesday.
"We like to get the ball down and play and then carve teams open."
The Cardiff City Stadium pitch was criticised after Wales' 3-2 friendly loss to the Netherlands on 13 November.
Cardiff enjoyed the majority of possession and territory in their Championship match against Forest but only converted one of their 16 efforts on goal.
"There was a bit of sloppy play, which probably you would expect on a pitch like that," Pilkington added.
The Bluebirds host Blackburn in the Championship on Saturday before a home FA Cup tie against Shrewsbury on Sunday, 10 January.
