Josh Ginnelly: Burnley winger joins Altrincham on loan

Altrincham are currently 19th in the National League

National League side Altrincham have signed winger Josh Ginnelly on an initial one-month loan from Burnley.

The 18-year-old joined the Clarets from Shrewsbury, where he made three senior sub appearances, for an "undisclosed six-figure sum" in the summer.

Ginnelly arrives after news that Altrincham midfielder Shaun Densmore will be out for the season because he requires knee surgery.

The 27-year-old has appeared 14 times in the National League this term.
