Atlanta Primus: England Under-19 midfielder joins Yeovil Ladies

Atlanta Primus has joined Yeovil Town Ladies for the 2016 season

Yeovil Town Ladies have signed Atlanta Primus from Women's Super League One side Chelsea Ladies.

Primus, 18, is the daughter of former Portsmouth captain Linvoy.

The midfielder joins the WSL2 side ahead of their new season which starts on 7 February.

"I'm extremely optimistic about this season and know that as a team we are hungry to push for promotion," said Primus.

Glovers manager Jamie Sherwood admits he has tracked the teenager's progress for some time.

"I initially tried to sign Atlanta on loan last season but to no avail, so to sign her permanently I feel is very exciting," added Sherwood.
