Wales Under-21 were knocked off the top of Uefa European Under-21 Championship qualifying Group 5 following their scoreless draw with Bulgaria.

Denmark's 1-0 win in Luxembourg sees them leapfrog Geraint Williams' side at the top.

Wales retained their unbeaten record in qualifying in Stara Zagora, but are now a point behind the Danes who have a game in hand.

Wales face Romania in Medias on Tuesday, 29 March.

The nine group winners qualify automatically for the finals in Poland, with the the four best runners-up advancing to the play-offs.
