Dimitri Payet emulated his free-kick against Manchester United in the FA Cup

West Ham's Dimitri Payet and Leicester midfielder N'Golo Kante both scored on their birthdays as France beat Russia in their first game at the Stade de France, external since November's terror attacks.

Kante, 25, scored an early goal on his full international debut before Andre-Pierre Gignac doubled the lead.

Alexander Kokorin replied but Payet, 29, then scored a 30-yard free-kick with his first touch after coming on.

After Yuri Zhirkov netted, Payet set up Kingsley Coman's late goal.
