Mitchell Rose: Mansfield Town midfielder signs new contract

Mitchell Rose is the brother of Tottenham and England full-back Danny Rose

Midfielder Mitchell Rose has signed an extended contract with Mansfield Town.

The 21-year-old, who can also play at right-back, joined last summer and made 37 appearances for the League Two side.

"I am pleased, personally, with last season," said Rose. "I didn't think I would make as many appearances in a team with as much strength in depth."

Meanwhile, the Stags have released Craig Westcarr, Anthony Dwyer and Liam Marsden, and plan to announce their full retained list next week.
