Jake Howells: Eastleigh sign Luton midfielder on two-year deal

Jake Howells was among nine players released by Luton earlier this month

National League club Eastleigh have secured the signing of Luton midfielder Jake Howells on a two-year contract.

Howells was released by Luton at the end of the season and is Eastleigh's second signing for next term following David Pipe from Forest Green.

"I'm really pleased to be signing for such an ambitious club as Eastleigh and really looking forward to the challenge ahead," the 25-year-old said.

Howells, who made his Luton debut aged 17, can also play in defence.
