Iain Vigurs: Midfielder signs two-year contract at Inverness CT

Vigurs has played for both of the Premiership's Highland teams

Midfielder Iain Vigurs has signed a new two-year contract at Inverness Caledonian Thistle.

The 28-year-old returned for a second spell with the Highlanders last summer, scoring eight goals in 36 appearances in the campaign just finished.

Vigurs said: "I thoroughly enjoyed getting back to playing last season and, although we never got the top six that we wanted, we finished strong.

"We now need to look to kick on from that next season."

Vigurs began his career at Elgin City and spent three years with Caley Thistle before making the short move to Ross County in 2009.

He spent two seasons with Motherwell prior to his return to Caledonian Stadium.
