Billy Knott: Gillingham sign former Bradford City midfielder

Billy Knott scored one goal in 28 appearances for Bradford last season

League One side Gillingham have signed Billy Knott following the midfielder's departure from Bradford City,

The 23-year-old scored eight goals in 79 appearances in two seasons at the Coral Windows Stadium.

Knott, who began his career at Sunderland, has agreed a two-year deal at the Priestfield Stadium and becomes Gillingham's second summer signing.

"I needed a manager who trusts me and who can get the best out of me," he told the club website.
