Yann Songo'o: Plymouth Argyle sign former Blackburn defender

Yann Songo'o played twice in the League Cup for Blackburn during his two-year stay

League Two side Plymouth Argyle have signed defender Yann Songo'o for next season after his release by Blackburn.

The former Cameroon Under-20 international, 24, played under boss Derek Adams in 2013-14 on loan at Scottish Premiership side Ross County, where he made 17 appearances.

Songo'o started his career at Deportivo La Coruna and has had stints at Metz, Real Zaragoza and Sporting Kansas City.

He is the younger brother of former Portsmouth striker Franck Songo'o.
