Bury: Ben Williams, Zeli Ismail & Niall Maher join League One side

Ben Williams made 52 appearances for Bradford City last season

Bury have signed goalkeeper Ben Williams, ex-Wolves winger Zeli Ismail and former Bolton defender Niall Maher.

Williams, 33, spent two years at Bradford after joining from Hibernian and rejected a deal with the Bantams.

Albania-born Ismail, 22, is a former England Under-17 international and was released this summer after 12 outings.

Both have agreed two-year deals, while 20-year-old Maher has signed a 12-month contract after being let go by Wanderers at the end of 2015-16.

He spent time on loan at Cambridge, Oxford and Burton last season, as well as stints at Notts County and MK Dons.
