Kirk Broadfoot scored his only goal for Rotherham in a 4-0 win at MK Dons in April last season

Rotherham defender Kirk Broadfoot has signed a two-year contract extension with the Championship club.

Former Scotland defender Broadfoot joined Rotherham following his release by Blackpool in 2014, but his contract was set to expire at the end of June.

The 31-year-old has made 60 appearances in all competitions for the Millers.

Rotherham finished 21st in the Championship last season, nine points clear of the relegation zone.
